ELECTIVES


Photo Journalism will focus on photographic composition, camera use, lighting and a portfolio. Pictures may be used in the student newspaper and the Website. Students are required to take photos at after school events and activities.

Communication Applications is a required course. This course will examine the communication process from various aspects such as verbal and non-verbal communication, listening, one-to-one communication, and group communication. Students will be expected to identify, analyze, develop and evaluate communication skills needed for success in interpersonal situations, group interactions, and general presentations. Students can expect to develop self-confidence when speaking and to improve on thought and organizational skills.
